wird er begehbar, seine Bestandteile hängen wie zur Anprobe bereit.
Dabei ist in der Installation ein Verwirrspiel angelegt: Dieses Schnittmuster
ist nicht aus funktionalem Papier, sondern aus hauchdünner, transparenter
Seide, gefärbt und bedruckt im Stil der Börsenindex-Seiten der
britischen »Financial Times«. Hier vereinen sich männliche
und weibliche Konnotationen im Material.

Vogue 2836 is the pattern
of a classic single-breasted men's suit. This installation allows the
spectator to enter, to explore the patterns that are presented hanging
freely as if ready for fitting, trying and accepting or discarding. Imbedded
in the installation is a play on the paradox: The patterns are not of
tissue paper but of pure semi-transparent silk which has been dyed and
printed to resemble the share index pages of the British Financial Times.
Possible or likely male or female connotations unite and contradict at
once in the material.
